So, the battle is over! Probably this will be my last time feeling like this every year! Yukirin did not get that No.1 (Sashiko game too strong yo) but at least she got to see a different view and it was upwards not downwards! I call this success! Thank you all who voted and those who contributed, we showed that we are still alive and hopefully this will show those up there that Yukirin should not be ignored anymore!
I will talk more about this when I watch the recorded show but I will just say now that some things happened that just stole some fun from this, namely Maachun and Sayaya to mention but a few. If Yukirin won I would be outside right now getting drunk (even if I don’t drink) but still, that moment when Mayuyu was called before her…I think my heartbeat caused an earthquake somewhere on earth! That moment was just so delicious I will always remember it! And Mayuyu looking like that, I don’t think I have ever seen her so happy to lose! She really was supporting Mamarin.

Technically this is a crazy achievement because this girl right here is now officially rank highest among the AKB members despite getting crappy treatment from AKB management.
Her smile is soooo worth all the efforts the fan put in 🙂

So true! I didn’t even look at it this way! Stupid AKS over-shadowing AKB in regards to the other groups! They need to come up with another name for the groups combined and leave AKB as an entity on its own! Oh well, this way they all know AKB is the first and the meat of things so being the top girl in that group, Yukirin has achieved greatness already!

So close but yet so far!!! (That Sasshi power votiing!!!!)
Trust Yukirin though to make us all feel like this is still a victory (which it is really) the way she came out and the way she reacted to her 2nd place made us all feel proud of our achievement as her fans, getting her to her best ever position (which we should be proud about anyway) she turned it into a celebration that we could all enjoy even if we did miss out on our goal
But that is Yuki right, she truly is one of the classiest members when it comes to the Elections, she truly becomes one of the rocks of AKB during this time of year giving everything a composure and calm that is quite staggering when you think about it, yet another one of her great unsung talents
I haven’t really watched enough of the shows yet to really properly gather all my thoughts about this yet but as always, I’m proud to be a Yukirin fan 🙂
