Bodies falling like sheep

Only one Yuriko is left, or two if you count Yuriko-sama! Shit is getting real in here!

We find out quite a bit in this episode! A lot of connections are made and secrets are brought to the fore and others still left with a bit of mystery! It seems like every episode we get more evidence that this so called Yuriko-sama power or curse isn’t actually supernatural in nature but actions of a person and in this episode the blame has been pointed towards Yuriko-sama (the student not the Yuriko-sama then again, it is hard to tell the difference because if she is the chosen one then she must have the power of Yuriko-sama and thus is Yuriko-sama…ah~ I am confusing myself)

But while the evidence is strong that these are actions of a person and not some powers that be, I still find it hard to believe that there is no otherworldly influence at work! At the very least I am still not convinced that it is Yuriko-sama’s (the student) work.

We also learn a little bit about the previous Yuriko-sama, as Mizuki asked Yuriko a favour to find out more about her for the play she was writing and the Teacher was kind enough to give Yuriko the diary of the previous Yuriko-sama, along with some little bits of information about her real cause of suicide!

While it was widely believed that it was because of bullying (yes, she too was bullied and just like in Yuriko’s case, her bullies got their just desserts in some mysterious forms of justice) but it turns out that she was in love with a teacher and she killed herself because of the heartbreak from some betrayal or something.

Another thing we learn is that the club member Yuri is actually working for Yuriko-sama. Then again, seeing as they are a Yuriko-sama club, I guess it makes sense that they would be worshipping Yuriko-sama though from the look of things, the club president is more interested in Yuriko than Yuriko-sama, much to the jealousy of Yuri, who goes and rats him out to Yuriko-sama! Yuriko-sama for her part doesn’t seem that much disturbed and only asks Yuri to keep her posted on Yuriko’s progress!

We also learn who the stalker is and it turns out to be Mr Debu, who we thought might be on Mizuki’s side from the other times we saw him but then again there were some glitches! This truth really puts gaps in my brain because it makes me think that Mizuki might be involved in this shit more than we know! She comes off as not knowing who Yuriko’s stalker is but she seemed to know Debu-san! Is he just fulfilling his personal desires or is he under orders?!

Then there is Yuriko’s creepy classmate who always seems to be recording her on his phone! You know, the one that she got jealous over the other time she saw him talking with Mizuki? Well, this episode he was approached by Mizuki while he was in class alone, watching another of his recoded vids of Yuriko of course!

Like, come on girl please Mizuki, don’t be a bad guy, please! We don’t want a repeat of the previous Yuriko-sama who killed herself because of a lover’s betrayal! Though I guess she wouldn’t be killing herself but rather would change enough to be ideal as a vessel for the next Yuriko-sama and as we know, Yuriko-sama is no saint! Yuriko is just too good of a person to become Yuriko-sama at the moment and unless it is the user that determines what kind of power Yuriko-sama possesses, and thus she would be a good Yuriko-sama who brings luck instead of curses, then Yuriko is not fit to be Yuriko-sama yet! She can’t win against the current Yuriko-sama, who, if what they say is true, she is the most dangerous Yuriko-sama in history, given her track record of deaths!

Any who, that is how much new stuff we learned in just this episode! So what of the more relevant side of things? By that of course I mean yuri!!

Well, we finally got the cute cheek pinch from the OP and not only that but in that same scene we also got Mizuki so non-chalantly calling Yuriko super cute, as an answer to Yuriko wondering why she was being stalked! In the very same scene, we also got another ‘say ah~’ moment that we haven’t seen since episode one!

I gotta say, if they are feeling very giving then they can perhaps give us another one of Yuriko’s delusions of being showered with kisses by Mizuki? No? Next episode maybe? Okay then….

We also got two more of gallant Mizuki scenes where her super protectiveness of Yuriko comes out! Interestingly these two scenes both opened and ended the episode! I wonder if they did that on purpose! Probably not but hey, what are dreams for?

They also of course had at least two ‘intense gay staring’ scenes that you know, just make you want to hold the back of their heads and push them towards one another while shouting – NOW KISS!

Though it seems little, I think we were actually lucky to get that much given that this was the most info-dump episode so far and thus we shouldn’t have gotten any quality time so really, I am happy with what we got!

Now then, things are picking up speed which means we might get less yuri moments from here on out but hey, I enjoy the series now for more than just the yuri moments so I am all good!
