My Ten Commandments – Part 1

AKA My Top 10 Favourite Yuri Movies Of All Time!

I know a few have been waiting for this list since forever as I have gotten this question quite a lot, and I apologise but that is how hard it was for me to settle on this final verdict!

No, I have not seen Ahgassi/The Handmaiden yet but dear Lord my lovely Readers, I have seen things! Oh have I seen things! Let me tell you this now, Fingersmith is tame, way tame compared to The Handmaiden! If we are going by the yuri, if the book yuri is a 50/100 then the movie yuri is a solid 96/100!

I kid you not!

And so just I presumed would be the outcome, The Handmaiden is going to be my all time favourite movie and all this before I have even watched it! I have never waited for something so hard in my life.

This list is labelled Part 1 because I am planning on posting an in-depth post about this list, explaining each movie and why it is where it is on the list. The delay is of course that I am waiting for The Handmaiden to drop. So do look forward to a deeper post explaining the list.

For now, these are my Ten Commandments, as I like to call them!

But just to be clear, this is not my Top 10 Movies of All Time List! That list contains none yuri/subtext movies like A Tale of two Sisters, The Dark Knight, Martyrs etc…

Anyway, yeah, that is that…for now.

More Holiday Swag

Hi all, nothing major, just more scans and photos of more of the goodies that came over the holidays. This Christmas was all about amazon Japan shopping!

In here we have two Idol LIVE BDs, two Movies and two PBs. That TGS BD is the one I mentioned in the last post but I realised I did not scan it so I have included it here. It came with a booklet with photos that Mei-ting, the current leader, took of the girls when they went to London last year. Apologies for no scans since they weren’t that interesting but if anyone wants them, I can scan the booklet.

As for the movies, I have already watched Sisterhood/Chikyuu de Tatta Futari

but I did not own the DVD and that just can’t do so I went and got myself a copy as well. Hey, with all this Hydrogen bomb scares from North Korea, it is time to prepare for Fallout and I don’t need no thing other than yuri, and DIVA in my life, thank you!

X21 is growing on me and while I ship Miho and Mai, I have got an obsession with Miho and Manami. It seems like every Making of now has something of the two. They remind me of MaiHIME’s Mai and Mikoto with their physique similar to those of mentioned anime girls, the age difference and curious relationship. I mean how am I to resist this…

They are just so much fun and Miho doesn’t even hold back being all childish with Manami. They just put a smile on my face when they are together which is very different to when Miho is with Mai. If it was a family with Miho being the father and Mai the mother to Manami’s child, then she is such a Daddy’s girl ^^ Hit the jump for more fun caps of Miho and Manami. And how interesting that both of their names start with I and M!

Then there is that Under-water PB! Its glorious! Just let me enjoy it a bit and I will scan it after the exams and down with (In the middle of currently. Stupid exams!). The other PB is all about bloomers and girls doing high school girl things, you know, crazy things! I might or might not scan that as it is more of girls playing than it being yurific.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have finally found it.

A movie that perfectly represents my taste in yuri…in regards to rating. I am sure many of you have heard me mention at one point that I wasn’t into extreme yuri, except in very selected circumstances. Well, this movie has it just right.
