So yah, I have finally finished watching the second season of Alice in Borderland (thank you holidays) and I have to say that I got more than I expected! Yes, even with all my ‘chance’ talk in the last post, I am still logical! Not sane but logical! I did not expect kissing and confessions from these two!

And like I said, I have never seen a Kuina character fall for a girl before. Heck, the show proves this point by still trying to sell us Kuina x Doctor Guy! I wonder if she will still be into him when she learns how he was in real life!

But who cares!!! Team Ann won this one! Like, it wasn’t even close a race! Seriously, even the Editing Team was waving the flag, the way they just said fuck it and started editing Kuina and Ann scenes sequentially!

Oh, and don’t get me started on the fact that Ann and Kuina got a game to themselves, even though it was frikkin short-lived and super-imposed with other J games! Well, an A for Effort!

As for the season, I totally love it better than season 1! That Beauty Contest and the last Queen of Hearts games were frikkin fantastic! They of course pale in comparison to Squid Game’s Marbles Game (Shit, even thinking about it makes me cry!). But I have to say, the Beauty Contest, not only was it the most gruesome but it also was the one that almost got me in the FEELs! Some might say that the King of Spades was epic but it was just so out of there for me!

I have to say too that the Queen of Clubs was to die for! Seriously, every support character is this show is miles ahead of the leads, like, what is this!!

Back to our girls Kuina and Ann, that one scene where they see each other after a long while and started to walk towards each other, I swear I could hear ‘And I will always love you’ song playing in the background in instrumental as the two walked in slow motion! Too bad they are both beyond cheese otherwise a hug and tears would have been involved in that scene!

Again, I wish they had some time to connect in that J of Clubs! Like, all the other frikkin characters got their time to shine why now these two!?! They spent like three frikkin episodes on the King of Clubs but they couldn’t afford some time for these two other supporting characters?!

Fuck right off!

Christmas is over, so what of it!

But then I got the happenings during the fight with the Terminator from the future…sorry…the King of Spades! I did say it in the last post but this is a Survival Game show so of course deaths were expected as such, I wasn’t at all surprised when they off’d like, four characters at the same time! I was surprised by the retardedness but not the deaths!

But then what happened around these deaths was what I did not expect! Like, Kuina and Ann both saving each other from the Termina-I swear, this is the last time I call him Termina—Shiiiit! Blame the show, okay!!

When the Term-fucccck! Terminator it is! When the Terminator first got Ann, Kuina saved her by badass kicking a car side mirror into the back of the terminator’s head! Then later when he had Kuina in his arms, Ann shot her free! And finally when he killed Ann, Kuina went all murderous karate on his ass! Sadly, she got like, ten stabs in the stomach since she didn’t give a shit anymore!

Already much more progress than what we got in the first season! I was ready to end things there but wait…there is more! Because Ann isn’t quite dead yet! As they lay there dying Ann has strength for one last wish, that she and Kuina will be friends were they to meet again! Sadly, Kuina doesn’t answer in time before Ann dies but again…wait!

Once the Queen of Hearts is defeated, thus the last game being over, the remaining players are given a choice, of whether to return to their world or stay in Borderland. Were they to stay, they would be the game masters and thus the new Kings and Queens. But Borderland being something of a purgatory, some got to re-evaluate their lives and chose to return to the real world.

Kuina is one of these that choses to return! But in doing so, she takes Ann’s hand and in turn answering her wish. She wants to leave that place together with Ann and given that in the real world (or is it? Fuckin Joker!!) we see a tear slipping down Ann’s face after she comes back from Cardiac Arrest on a surgery table! That tear tells me that she heard Kuina’s answer!

The encore would have been Kuina and Ann meeting in the real but eh, beggars can’t be choosers and seeing Kuina’s family finally accept her new self was kind of touching as well! Besides, the two have already gotten the hard part out of the way! It would take a lot more time for them to get to the mushy romantic stuff and we still have a fuckin Joker card!

Seriously, I have seen that the manga apparently stops there, and most people don’t want a sequel but I fuckin want it! Maybe we can get out of the ridiculousness and get some real shit in this story! Then add in some more personal moments away from the game-heavy, run for your life, intensity and just relax and have some relationships in this bitch!

Then the Joker can mess with them, and we will be all the more devasted!
