And now with that stupid coming out opener, let’s talk about this new HBO series of hers that just started airing.
I usually don’t do documentary-style content, as this is a series more about the making of a show, sorry, an 8-part movie <insert blueprint meme>, titled Vampires and Alicia is playing a character from this remake named Irma Vep, hence the title of the show.
I guess that means that we are going to have eight episodes, to match the eight parts of the movie they are shooting. Will we ever get to see the finished product? Who knows!
Anyway, I am here for the BTS for a change, as we follow Mira’s life and her absolute submissive of a relationship with one time girlfriend/assistant Laurie – Laurie who went and left her for yet another of her lovers, but for some reason Mira is still so obsessed with Laurie to the point of letting her order her around like they were still in a relationship and playing S&M!
Seriously, Mira has it bad for Laurie! Yeah, sure that’s what love is sometimes but I feel kind of sorry for her. I bet you if Laurie just walked in one day and said let’s get back together, Mira would be like, LET’S! Heck, no use betting when in this very episode Laurie had Mira begging out loud for them to get back together!
Even after that ending where Laurie had Mira waiting for her for ages for their date, not only for Laurie to arrive late but to just say that she has to leave and go back to LA (they are currently in Paris). Basically, had Mira sitting there putting her schedule out of order only for her to not even have the time for Mira.
Yeah, I don’t think I am a fan of Laurie!
I wonder where the story is going from here. Mira has to stay in Paris for the foreseeable future and Laurie has gone back to LA. Will they get the time to work things out and get back together or will Mira move on and meet another girl in Paris?
Another part of me is like, will history repeat itself and see Mira getting together with Regina – her new assistant? Thought I have to say Regina looks like she has her head on straight so I doubt she will be into flings! What then, will they use her to teach Mira a lesson in relationships, as she says, she doesn’t do monogamy, meaning that she hasn’t really gotten it yet!
Nothing to do but wait I guess…
