Everyone is so damn thirsty this year, and I love it!!

Seriously though why is everyone so thirsty this year?!! And so damn hungry too! Not that I am complaining! Gotta feed the Beast and it seems that content this year already are here to save the day, the way they are feeding our hungry girls!

 

Now look here, when I said I had a good feeling about this year just recently, I was only half wishful thinking! Well guess what, looks like the Goddess was listening and took my words to heart because here we are, not even a month into the year and we are freakin’ feeding good!

Well, I know I am feeding good at least, with all this content so far!

Up on the food belt is a surprise find, one for which I never even knew it existed until it hit me in the face! Seriously, I didn’t even watch a trailer for this, and it was by chance that I stumbled upon it, let alone deciding to watch it! It was all from the series poster and when I saw Emma, I fell in love with her instantly which is why I decided to watch the series, also it was Sci-Fi like so of course I was like, count me in!

I struck gold, like, literally!

Yeah sure, Emma turned out to be a disappointment, almost as infuriating as Lord Vada we just read about in the previous post! Seriously, Emma pulled the exact same crap Lord Vada did and I was so ready to throw in the towel with my go-to gif of table-flipping, but I hung in there and you won’t believe what went and happened!!!!

Look, let me just tell you right now that I feel like this year is going to be one where I don’t use the name Dick here anymore for the enemy (male character love interests for our girls)! Seriously, I have already made the comparison but the reason here is exactly like it was for Mr.Q!

Like, what the fuck is going on?! Are we in the Twilight Zone? The male characters are turning out to be good meanwhile the female Leads are turning to trash!

And as if the comparisons couldn’t end there, the supporting character, our other girl turns out yet again an absolute Angel! Like literally, what is this Marie character?! She’s like based and it even pains me to say but I don’t think Emma deserves her…well…. sometimes!

So anyway Emma, our Protag is the usual B-class teen who finds herself in the middle of an Alien conspiracy and as we know around here, spoilers are the game, it turns out that she is in fact an Alien, who was put in the care of a human when her Kind’s ship crash landed and her birth mother gave birth to her before she passed away, having sustained damage from the wreak.

Things don’t pick up until a group of friends approaches her and from there her life gets stranger and stranger as she gets entangled with both sides, her family and their enemy who came to earth to hunt them down and kill them!

As you might have guessed with six episodes the series ended on a crappy note with basically Emma running for her life as her real self begins to emerge, the drugs that had been concealing her nature now no longer in her system and all her family members, even her mother, dead!

Look, I don’t know who came up with this six-episode structure but I will find you and I will kill ya! You are the reason we get half-assed stories on streaming services, like, do you hear me?!!

I WILL FIND YOU!!!!

Now usually this would not bother me but when it gets in our way, like it did here, like denying us the talk that Emma and Marie were supposed to have, all thanks to Guy’s sacrifice, when you deny us that because of time constraints then we have a big problem Buddy!

And since we are on the subject, let’s begin from there as we discuss what we care about around here, which is the gayness of course!

You can just guess that Emma and Marie needing to talk means that someone fucked up and since I am on our Protag’s case here, she is of course to blame! I did say that she pulled the same shit that Lord Vada did, right? To remind those who have forgotten, Lord Vada went and made out with Mr.Q right after having sex with Princess Mia, like, WTF!?! You hadn’t even talked about the sex FFS?!!

Guess what Emma did here! The exact same thing! Like fuck, they even showed the emotions between Emma and Marie, and anyone could see that they were the one! But then right after sleeping with Marie, like, not even talking about the sex, she goes and sleeps with Marie’s friend and then she proceeded to stoke the flames!

Fuck!

I was ready to lip a table! But thankfully, just like Mr.Q, Guy here too had brain cells, (thank God), for someone who was the dumbest out of the friends! He encouraged Emma to speak with Marie about things because unlike him, Marie had feelings for Emma, the way she looked at her, and Emma too looked at Marie the same way! And he was damn right! I freakin’ have evidence as you can see!!

Like, is it raining good Guy characters this year or what?!

Shit, I hope this is not going to happen in Warrior Nun when Season 2 drops! But for some reason I can totally see Ava kissing Beatrice one episode then the very next getting back with Dick (Oops, I guess I spoke too soon), because she is ‘confused’!

Please for the love of God, don’t dare do it!

But anyway, we already know that Beatrice is a Godsend so she is automatically like Princess Mia and Marie here, just an Angel who will not get mad at Ava!

Any who, getting back to the point at hand, Emma and Marie are totally joining the list of top ships (mostly because of Marie and how lovable she is – and fuck, why wasn’t she a real Vampire damn it!) and as you can guess I totally ship them (otherwise they have no reason being immortalized on this blog)!

Their sex scene was a real surprise too and how raw it was! Surprisingly the Emma the main character was the one who went full *huh* but it is better than what we got with Lord Vada and Princess Mia, though I think their kiss was more…I don’t know…more something!

I can’t say hotter because Emma and Marie’s kiss was out of this world too, the way the thirst was real in their eyes and the way they teased each other’s lips…

Jesus!

And just their scenes together, even the day after (the sex) at school! Thank God at lease they handled that like a champ instead of ignoring it like Lord Vada! They commenced to make googly eyes at one another and while they did not kiss in public and actually didn’t say the I love You words to one another, their feelings were there for all too see!

If only Emma didn’t try to fuck it up!

As for their fate, even as Marie was still being a Saint when she put in the effort to go to Emma’s home and warn her of the people coming for her and to also have that talk because she missed Emma terribly so and she wished that Emma needed her as she did her, Emma went and just left her hanging!

Like, I understand it wasn’t the perfect time for that talk but FFS sakes you knew your time was running out, at the very least make an effort that is much more than simply saying you do and kissing Marie only to slam the door in her face!

Do something more, explain yourself! Say you are sorry! Tell her your secret! Say goodbye! Something more!

But instead, now we are left with Marie probably still in deep pain and confusion at to what exactly Emma thinks of her and now Emma might be going back home to her planet without even any closure!

Like, we don’t even know if there will be a second season! Not with those horrendous stars on IMDB, if they are of any indication! Like, this is Netflix we are talking about! This is a studio that cancels shows which were fan favourites and had good reviews!

Now, to be hopeful, this is not Netflix USA, whose alias is Netflix Scissorhands! But still, you just never know!

Just, just tell the damn story you want to tell with the time you are sure you have! Come up with concepts for continuations when you get greenlit!
