I think you and I will get along new Dick! Seriously, this is the one thing I was going on and on about in regards to Rue and Jules! They are the alpha ship, so to speak of this wild show and yet they are the only ones who haven’t had sex!!! Like, how even!!

It is nice to know that the writers are aware of this singularity and while they are talking the talk so far without the walk, they have started crawling, like, three episodes into the second season but at least they are crawling!

Literally the only other reason why I haven’t written about this season yet despite having watched all three episodes already is because I was waiting for something to happen! We’ve already had a full fuckin season of kisses so how about we get something in this second season!! I mean these are high schooler for fucks sakes! There is nothing on the brain but sex and the show shows it apparently and yet here we are with the main character almost coming off as “asexual” (Seriously, me and new Dick will get along well, that is if he doesn’t become a villain by fuckin Jules, I am watching you fucker!)

That being said, you might have concluded that me writing about it now means something finally happened, and you would be right! Again, it took three episodes but they finally acknowledged the elephant in the room by having a character ask Jules and Rue if they have had sex! It was a funny scene but also kind of weird. What was so hard about Jules saying that ‘No’ they haven’t had sex yet? Also Rue’s reaction wondering why Jules was evading the question, well Rue, how about you, you do know you are a part of this question, right?

That is all well and good but the deed that got me to finally pull out Word is the fact that Rue and Jules finally had a proper High Schooler make out scene when they passionately kissed on a sin and Oh, did they have passion, then shockingly, even if I was crying for something to happen I did not expect that, Rue totally gave Jules a hand-job!

Yeah, Rue was probably high as fuck at the time and Jules hadn’t had sex in like a painful month so anything would do but it is still something! And let’s be real, first times are scary so hand-jobs as a stepping stone is actually viable! Which is why I was so proud of them that I just had to finally whip up a post about them!

Keeping on the positive light (yes, there will be negatives), I have to say that this season is progressing well! I mean, in episode one we had the two finally talk again and it was awkward as you would expect and their want for one another and how much they had missed one another was portrayed well and their first kiss after the train shenanigans was really well done! You could totally see how much they had missed one another!

Then by episode two they started working on the couple thing and they finally put a name to this thing between them, which they hadn’t all season one, strangely, but now they both made their feelings for one another clear and we even got to see the side dishes that come with being a couple, like jealousy, when Rue made herself a new druggie friend (new Dick).

But that new Dick is where my problems begin, in that while it is clear that Rue has no feelings for him, he does like her but that is nothing of course, the problem is that it seems to me like the writers are thinking of hooking him up with Jules, which really I hope to God it is just my imagination because if it happens I will fuckin…

On the other hand, it is a hurdle she has to overcome by not succumbing to her urges, because let’s face it, sex with men is like Jules’ own addiction like drugs are to Rue, then I will welcome it. Also if it is used as a way to finally show Rue’s possessive nature then I will allow it too, but somehow I doubt the show runners will pass up on creating more drama by having Jules have sex with new Dick and thus taking us back again into the two suffering like we haven’t had a goddamn season of it!!

Speaking of repeats, addict Rue is back, like she did not spend the second half of the first season trying to do better, all that work is down the drain and now she is back to full time dipping and what’s worse is that I fear they made that decision because it is Rue’s character or something, to always be under, as if she is not interesting when she isn’t!

Yeah sure, she relapsed because Jules left but Jules is here and they have even established their relationship so where is the trying? Is it only me who thinks that there is more to the character if they show her try her best to overcome the addiction even if she fails instead of just making it as her character trait?!

And what’s worse is that everyone is reacting to this Rue differently from when they did in season one! It’s like the writers forgot that story partially when writing this season!

As for the other characters, don’t even get me started! By episode three I found my self skipping all none Rue and Jules scenes because I have no idea what the fuck is happening there! It seems like this has turned into shock the series instead of awesome the series! We should be getting character developments for this season not re-developments! Everyone should be working on their character this time around either getting better or worse but they are either already different or back to square one!

And I am not sure why but technically, the show has also gone down from season one and even the specials! Like, what the hell happened? Is it just me?!

Anyway, here’s to hopping that Rue and Jules are actually being written to be that perfect endgame and for the love of god, have sex!!! You are high schoolers doing drugs and shit! Also Lexi, dear Lexi, please don’t turn straight on us now!! Sure Rue is off the menu, but there is a new lovely character in Bobbi, how about we hook up with her instead, huh? Yeah sure, Rue’s Bro is a good guy but come one, that is the definition of ‘out of no where’!

Speaking of Bobbi, actually all these new characters are lovable, even Faye (she stole Rue’s thunder as the it addict to tell the truth). I can’t wait for their development too and fingers crossed for Lexi and Bobbi to hit it off!
