Vid – Haru x Miwako [IS]

*UPDATED WITH YOUTUBE RE-UPLOAD*

Hello there readers,

First I apologize for the lack of updates but it’s that time again. You know, the one where you are so bored out of your mind in that for the life of you, you just can’t find the motivation to do personal…fun stuff! Well, I always have it but soon or later things just come to me…So I am waiting for that hit.

And I thus won’t be finishing IS review. Well, the fact that I almost smashed my PC during those last two episodes does nothing to help matter.

But the bottom line is that I really loved this drama and it is going to the archives.

Proof of my love is this little MV I put together. Youtube is being an ass again bu blocking it in some countries (Like WTF is up with that anyway?)

If one can’t watch it, fear not. You are covered.

DOWNLOAD IT: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3

Back to IS, I have got to say that we were very very lucky by the way the Drama went! Believe you me, it seems like a whole different work with the same theme compared to the manga!

Believe you me!

I am so happy with what we got and can’t really see how better it would’ve gone…Well, perhaps we could have gone without that embarrassing Miwa-chan x Childhood Friend thingie they went for!

GRRR

Any ways, I will shut up now.

What this!?! A Werewolf movie?!! They still make those?!!

Seriously, I totally forgot about that lore because it seems movies also totally forgot about them! It seems like all everyone makes movies about these days is Vampires and Zombies!

Which of course means that this movie might have been a D-movie and I would still salivate my way to watching it being the horror sucker that I am!

Throw in gayness and you have my complete attention! hat is what this movie, Bloodthirsty, just did and being directed by a woman you just know that it is going to deliver on the none action parts and those are very rarely good in horror genres which is why while they might not deliver in the areas which people most think of when they think horror, they elevate the stories and just like the likes of the French horror RAW and the Swiss movie BLUE MY MIND, both directed by women, deliver in the FEELs department while being conservative on the horror but that doesn’t mean the horror does not hit!

Just like those mentioned movies, in Bloodthirsty the horror is scarce but when it hits, it hits hard! Sadly, just like those movies this one too does not have a GOOD END! But it is worse here because of our our girls is deaded!

Anyway the story goes that Music Icon Grey (played by the recognisable Lauren Beatty) is having a bit of difficulty with her next album so she employs the help of a renown producer to help her get things moving! She and her girlfriend Charlie (played by Katharine King So) move to the producer’s place up in the snowy wilderness when that’s where most of the story takes place.

When we meet Grey she is with her therapist and from the get go we know she’s having some serious issues! These of course plater play into the character when it turns out that just like we have seen it already countless times, usually when characters try to supress something, it almost always blows up and that’s what happens!

You see Grey is a werewolf but she doesn’t know it and it takes what we have seen before, to those who have watched a few werewolf movies, that usually the hidden genes awaken when the bearer comes into contact with one of their kin and a kin the Producer was.

No, I am not going to make the Darth Vader joke but now that I have mentioned it you know what the relationship between Grey and the Producer turns out to be! And again, just like clock-work, the device usually employed to fully unlock the characters’ true selves is used here when Charlie has to die for Grey to fully embrace her nature!

Yeah, I hate the trope but what can you do?! I mean, Charlie could have come out of this alive had she not stopped and turned back to go and help her girlfriend escape but then what?!

Is it better for Charlie to live and in doing so showing us that their love wasn’t strong enough and basically ended on their separation or Charlie to die because she loved Grey that much!

That Bastard was quite villainous though, he only hurt Charlie enough so that she would still be barely alive when Grey found her but Grey was in hungry mode so her stumbling upon a bleeding human…yeah, but maybe she could resist but then what?! Leave Charlie to die slowly there from either the cold or her bleeding out or making sure her death was not in vain!

Anyway, the Dad got his just desserts when Grey ate him alive so I guess justice was served?

But what hit me the most though was finding out that Charlie actually knew what Grey was with the reveal of the painting she had been working on all this time they were there! She knew what Grey was and yet she still styed with her, slept with her and smiled and cuddled like everything was normal!

I need a girlfriend like her in my life!

Sucks that she died in the end but this is a horror movie and being a horror lover, I am totally okay with that! Sometimes characters living actually makes me super angry, like that Mortal Kombat family that didn’t die from getting frozen for hours! Like, I am sorry but you are so fuckin dead!

Anyway, that’s that.
