Seriously, like this is textbook material right here! And I will say it again, if you are a person who hasn’t subscribed to Cheeze Film YouTube Channel, right you life’s mistake right now and subscribe right now!!! Like, this is like the true definition of fluff videos on this channel!
But make no mistake! That doesn’t mean there is a lack of emotional punches in their videos! As you will see with this one, sometimes they do deliver that right dose of goodness that remind you that they are a professional production company, albeit more focused on students actors! I have already covered some videos of them before but there is a lot of material on their channel that you will love so definitely go and check them out!
Back on topic though, this particular video just hit the right spots! I am not sure about my Readers but I always prefer budding relationships over established ones, be it in Fan Fiction or main material, I just prefer the journey and build up over the goal and navigation!
What’s even better is the spice of there being a condition in that formula like one-sided love or competition for love (better if the competition is a guy) and this one delivers on that because at it is a one-sided love, at least in the beginning! But what makes it even better is that blurred line where you can also think that Solbee might be confusing her feelings for love when it is in fact friendship as she seems to have no other friends other than Seyoung.
But unless one is just stubborn, you can see that Solbee is not dumb! And really, whoever said you can love a person as more than just a friend but also as a friend? Anyway, it’s made clear as day that they are more than friends anyway so there is no reason to debate this but I can see some thinking that they are indeed just friends!
First off the way Solbee looks at Seyoung is the first flag! It’s not like she is the only person in her life! Here we have Sam, who is more of Seyoung’s friends than Solbee’s but she is there and we see how both of them act towards her, or don’t act. We can see her and use her as judgement for what a ‘friend’ is and then we look at Solbee and we see that clearly, there is something more there!
And let’s not forget the conversation Seyoung had with Sam, which was a ‘love feelings talk’ conversation one has with their friends! Sam all but came out as a shipper of the two and her acceptance I think helped push Seyoung forward!
Not that it was needed, she looked already done in by the crushing absence of Solbee for those excruciating 4 weeks. Sucks for their classmates though when they find out that their suspicions were actually true and these two are dating!
That Solbee though, I wish I had a girlfriend like her! Even after that crushing breakup she all but worked her ass off for a whole month just to buy her love that watch she seemed to love that one time! She did not harbour any ill feelings even after that! What is that if not true love?
As for Seyoung, you can’t even find it in your heart to hate her! Even if she ended up being straight and denying Solbee’s feelings to the end, I just couldn’t hate her. We can’t force people to feel a certain way. And even when she put her foot down on Solbee’s heart in that break-up scene, you just couldn’t hate her because she did tell Solbee multiple times to stop her advances!
In the end though, those approaches did get to her and she did feel the gap left behind by Solbee’s absence! Truly, the very definition of not knowing what you have until you’ve lost it!
