Yurilicious!
Oh snap, another one bites the dust!
Yuriko: OMG I love her
Well, more than one but only one Yuriko! Yuriko’s bully kicked the can, and really, it was her fault! She was warned to stay away from Yuriko but not only did she get back at it even after her cohort got hurt bad but she was going for Yuriko’s blood where she drew a knife and was going in for the kill (c Skrillex).
That scene was intense and it was a satisfying feeling when she was one hit K.O’d by Mizuki! Seriously, what is Mizuki, like…?! That wasn’t the only time she saved Yuriko in this episode too, the second time was when another classmate jumped her and was about to choke her thankfully Mizuki was with her that time and she didn’t waste any seconds taking that bully by the ear like the bitch she is and showing her what happens when one messes with Yuriko on her watch!
I too want a girlfriend like Mizuki damn it!
In addition to Mizuki being the knight in shining armour that she is, this episode gave us some more progress in Mizuki and Yuriko’s relationship. Finally, Yuriko showed some much needed jealousy when Mizuki was being a little too close to two guys this episode. One was the detective who came over to investigate the killed bully’s death and Yuriko caught them watching the video of the crime on the phone in secret which meant that they looked too close.
Then that grinning bastard in Yuriko’s class was also seen by Yuriko spending some alone time with Mizuki but she tells us that he was apologising for what he had said in class when Yuriko came in with Mizuki and the whole class started to freak out by getting on their knees and begging her to spare them as if she was the real Yuriko-sama!
That’s another thing, it’s funny how Yuriko seems to already have this power when she hasn’t even earned the title let alone done something! Well to be fair, all her bullies are getting wreaked but there are other deaths that have nothing to do with her like the two other Yurikos. Then again, maybe the students think that she is eliminating them for the title or something!
But what others don’t know, what the dead girls seemed to know, is that there are no curses but rather that someone is perpetrating or committing these crimes. We are also beginning to see this as they show us a girl that seems dressed as Yuriko-sama, with pigtails and a red tie, fleeing the crimes scenes, both with first jumping death and the bully’s death!
Still though, while all evidence points to Yuriko-sama (the student not the curse), I doubt things would be that simple! It just seems a little too easy that it was her all along responsible for all these deaths! I mean, from what we know, she has won twice and we also know that there were no deaths before this time around so really, I am not convinced that it is her. It just seems too…easy! Besides, why would she be killing Yuriko’s bullies? Shouldn’t that be to her advantage if Yuriko is taken out of the picture?
And even if we say that she is the one who killed the other Yurikos, why hasn’t she done something to our Yuriko yet? It seems to me like she would be the priority target especially after the stunt she pulled last episode when she wore Yuriko-sama’s uniform despite not gaining the title yet. So really, some things don’t add up. But I can see some characters pointing fingers at her.
Speaking of, her interrogation scene was kind of funny when she was saying that Yuriko-sama did it. Then the Detective asked her if she had done it but she said no. He then asked but she is Yuriko-sama and she said yes. So then she did it but she said no, it was Yuriko-sama. Yeah, you can see where this is going!
Going back to the point we are all watching this, well, I love horror so I watch this for more than just yuri, it wasn’t just Yuriko’s jealousy that we got this episode in regards to our girls’ feelings for one another.
This time we got to see Mizuki’s point of view a little bit. Usually we only see Yuriko staring at Mizuki like she was a piece of heaven while Mizuki acted all cool and shit but this time we got to see a side of Mizuki where this time she is the one that stares at Yuriko with deep love. Yeah, it was another yep, she’s in love, kind of moment.
Also we got to see a flustered and vulnerable Mizuki during the knife attack where she was almost too late to save Yuriko, something she profusely apologised for. But as far as I am concerned, the one hit KO she gave the Bully totally made up for her seconds of lateness. But it was nice to see her lose her cool and that it was because of Yuriko.
Yeah, even if there is some kind of secret she is keeping, I am now convinced of her feelings for Yuriko. We will probably get some more scenes on Mizuki’s side before we finally get there to the moment where it gets mutual or they confess or someone confesses! But it is nice to see that it is not one-sided at least! And also for once it was the main character that hit first but then again, like I said the promos make Mizuki out to be the protag but the series itself tell us it is Yuriko so really, who knows…
Anyway that is all…
