They were so cute!

Before I explain the past tense, let me just say something real quick…

Will you all please stop ending series in the middle of something!!!?! Fuckin hell!! It’s like you all new writers have forgotten something called an arc!!! You can’t just end a series at any point in the middle of a story for fucks sakes! Tell a story or part of a story and end that part or that story when the series ends!!Just don’t stop in smack middle like it was the end of an episode when it’s the end of the season!!

God!

This trend has been going on lately and I hate it! Sometimes I wish studios would cancel all your shows so you fuckin learn a lesson and tell the story that you want to tell when you have a chance, that is to say, in the first season! Why you all not learn from hit series of the past?!

And even you are sure that you will be getting a sequel, make smart ends within your stories, don’t just stop just for the sake of stopping! And what’s worse is that these sudden stops all are short series with 10 or less episodes! Like, why the fuck?!

I am bringing this up because yes, this very series ‘In My Skin’, does the same damn thing by stopping right in the smack middle of a story like there was a next episode or something! There is no more episodes!!

And all with on top of a disappointing story in our girls Beth and Poppy’s relationship! What makes this worse is that they actually started out great! They were perfect all the way to their first kiss! But then out of nowhere, things turned to shit and Poppy turned into a closet bitch like she just came out of Narnia where she had spent 100 years but it was only a day in our world!

Jesus Fuckin Christ!

Hence the ‘They were so cute’ line because I was so proud of them and while there were flags all over seeing as Beth was living a lie to everyone else other than her two Besties (not even the school knew her actual family situation) and they were bound to fall out when Poppy found out the truth but that was not why they split up!

No, instead Poppy turned into Eve and suddenly was all ‘I am not gay‘ and ‘I don’t like you like that’ or some shit lie that! Like, who fuckin wrote this episode, some high schooler!?! All that progress flushed down the drain when they had a better way to introduce friction between the two by simply exposing Beth’s secrets!

Something they actually did, right at the very end when Poppy and her new ‘Buddy’ ran into Beth at the psychiatric hospital where her mother was admitted! They did not even exchange a word or anything because, why? Because season 2? Fuck off!

Yeah sure, if there ever is a second season we all will be watching because the next part in the story is that interesting, with Poppy finding out Beth’s secret and Beth being the Head Girl with Poppy as Assistant Head Girl, a title which by the way, Poppy left Beth for because she did not want that garbage when she was running for Presidency!

Fuckin hell!

These two had better make up later because if they don’t, theirs is going to joining the short list of most disappointing relationships after such class-development list!
