A Girl named YURIko having yurilicious delusions? Sign me up!!

Well, this was a surprise to me! Just last week I came across the trailer for this project and of course the first thing that popped into my mind was that this was a movie! As we see, a movie it was not!

Seeing the premise of this series, I am willing to bet that it is an adaptation of something, either a novel, manga or game. Not knowing means I don’t know anything about this story and so I am going with the flow of the series.

From what I understood of it, this is about another one of those famous High School urban legends, like Toire no Hanako-san or Himiko-sama except here, there is a new legend that goes by the name of Yuriko-sama. Hence why our protag is named Yuriko, all complete with the lily character and everything, you know, in case you would get confused!`

For some reason though, Tina’s character Mitsuki seems to be the front runner here? It is kind of conflicting given that the story would have us think Yuriko is the main top character but outside it seems Mitsuki is the top character. I guess we can just settle for both of them being the top two character?

Anyway, the first episode already gave me a grasp on what the story is going to be about. At this moment I am sceptical that there is mysticism involved but this is by no mistake a horror series! If the attire, setting and colour grading did not give it away. And while episode 01 was a bit censored, looks like that won’t be so in the second episode and forward. But to be fair, the incident in episode one wasn’t a fatal one so I guess they had nothing to prove.

Anyway, from what I gathered, every year there is an event that is held to choose the yearly Yuriko-sama, which it seems would grant a great deal of power to those that get it. Power bordering on fantastical, like curses and all that. But those who participate in this event have to be named Yuriko and as it so happens, this year there are five girls named Yuriko, with one of them being the two year champion and currently in third year! We have already been given a taste of her power in this episode and year, winning twice in a row you know she is going to be the ultimate boss to beat!

Not that the other challengers don’t seem intimidating. But of course, how else would the story be interesting then!

Good thing for our Yuriko though, she already has backup in the form of Mitsuki, the beauty! I say backup because she is not one to fuck with! Like, there are these bullies in Yuriko’s class that tripped her in front of Mitsuki and while Yuriko stopped her front confronting them right then and there, She wasn’t about to let some bitches get away with messing with her girl so she made sure to give a taste of their bitchiness to them and know that if they fuck with Yuriko again, they will have to answer to her. Needless to say, they would have to be complete idiots to go at Yuriko again!

I am not sure but it seems like to succeed in this race, one has to have some extra fire power behind them otherwise they are free meat. And we seem to have a mystery already on our hands as the incident from this episode has the victim leaving behind a suicide message where she apologises for not being able to protect Yuriko. The mystery here being that the Yuriko she writes is out Yuriko. But it doesn’t make sense! Yuriko is a first year and that girl had to be a third year, so what is going on?! We will have to find out in the next episode I guess but for now…

Let’s get back to our main girls in Yuriko and Mitsuki. It’s very obvious that they two care for each other and their personalities already laid out for us to see with Yuriko being the soft hearted, lone type girl who is always protected by the strong, beautiful Mitsuki, when they are not separated as they are in different classes.

But while it is by a breadth of a distance, Yuriko has deeper feelings for Mitsuki! To the point of having day dreams about Mitsuki kissing her during the lunch break. I was like, are we really doing that in front of all these other students?! But then it turned out that it was all in Yuriko’s head!

Comes with the name I guess…^_^

Mitsuki too cares a lot about Yuriko! I already mentioned the knighting she did to Yuriko’s bully but even without that you can see her protectiveness of Yuriko every where! And in case anyone had any doubt, she all but declares it in the preview for the next episode that she will protect Yuriko, complete with a hug and everything! She even used ‘Boku’ here, that masculine way of referring to oneself!

The amount of hand sex n here is up there with all the best and you know me and my hand sex! I still prefer it over kissing and actual sex in my content! Yes, I am weird that way, but what else is new?!

And in addition to that there was a fair amount of hugging and eye sexing going on too so year, no matter what happens, I am all in with this series! Sure I have a bad feeling about Mitsuki later down the road but the feeling isn’t so strong so I am prepared to be proven wrong. And so I won’t let that feeling get me down. For now, I am all aboard for this!
