In fact, fuck this whole episode! First of all, it’s totally in the wrong timeline of the whole series! This is not an episode that comes after last week’s episode! Yeah, sure Kairi met Sensei last episode and Yuri met Boss last episode but regarding Yuri and Kairi’s relationship, this is not an episode that comes after last week’s episode!

I am so pissed at this episode that my Japanese even failed me, and you know what that means! Like, what the hell are you doing Yuri?! You are literally going in the opposite direction! Kairi is over there doing her best to pave the way for you two’s future together, literally sacrificing herself for you!!! BUT there you are, totally going the other way!

I’m calm, I am calm!

Before we begin though I just have to say if you were let down by my lateness on this episode, forgive me and I bring a gift as a form of apology. See the end of the post for it. Secondary, like I said, my Japanese failed me this episode so unlike the usual times I am going to do a quick summary of things.

To tell the truth, I am also not feeling it, this episode I mean. Yeah sure, we still got the obligatory Yuiri (no, not Murayama but Yuri x Kairi, XD) moment but the whole episode was nerve grating in that most of our girls spent most of the time with men than they did each other and I hated every last minute of it! Kairi’s side of things not so much because she was still out there fighting for Yuri. Meanwhile…

Ah but I am getting ahead of myself. We begin the episode with Yuri and Kairi at a spa, which with the help of Boss, Kairi got a cheap deal and so the two go there for a nice massage and all that goodness. Yeah, disappointed it was the hot springs we were all expecting but hey, maybe that could still happen. There’s three episodes left so…

Anyway, there as usual we learn more about Kairi than we do Yuri and the most important thing we do is that her relationship with her mother isn’t so good. She is also very cut and dry with people and doesn’t love ‘grey areas’. Yuri tries to talk her into accepting those parts which leads into the happenings of the later parts where she tries to set Kairi up with Boss (barf)!

As for that strip scene from the teaser of the episode, the two were dressing back up and Kairi was enjoying the view as she complimented Yuiri’s bod. Yuri gets flustered to which Kairi says it’s okay and that she doesn’t mind showing Yuri her body and thus she drops her towel and stands there in her bathing suit in front of Yuri.

Yuri starts saying how she is not interested in a woman’s body when her eyes catch the Y. Her mouth drops in surprise and I am there thinking, oh is she awakening? But alas, she was only shocked at Kairi being a beaver (look it up). Which means you know what Yuri’s Y looks like. I mean she is a girl that has never touched a dildo so it might make sense but still…How pure can that girl be!

And of course, Yuri being the girl that she is, talks about this with Shiho and Tomomi. And speaking of which, I guess I must give up on the drama between Yuri and them happening. At the Spa, she all but told us that she is okay with that they did and not angry at them at all. There goes that thread of drama. I guess I will just have to keep a look out on the rings and see if they get back to being besties or if at least that part was affected enough for them to be just casual friends.

Anyway, she learns that the two are also into shaving and trimming and she feels like it’s just her going around all natural and the girls, I guess they believe it, make her feel like she was making Dick’s life hard because of her naturalness. Like as always, she listens to them and while she goes to see Dick first, who it turns out did not even give a tick, let alone seen Kairi’s Y (so, you are telling my you didn’t have sex? Or did you have sex but just…sex?), Yuri still goes B as well. And speaking of Dick, are they broken up or what?! Get your shit straight show!

As for the Kairi/Sensei and Yuri/Boss conversations, you will have to wait for subtitles, sorry. I just can’t stand them. Not even Kairi’s side whereas I said, she was mostly there to fight for Yuri. What we do learn from Kairi’s side is her resolve to be there for Yuri and we learn, or more like she finally says it herself, that she doesn’t trust people! Which lead to Yuri trying to set her up with Boss, because Kairi had said that if she was into guys, she would date him. Okay, I guess we can be thankful that we were not subjected to Kairi and Dick, again…

I best get to the good parts of this episode because my mood is falling fast. Finally, for the first time, we see Yuri and Kairi eating breakfast together. I gotta admit, seeing Yuri opening the curtains and Kairi popping her head out behind her got my heart to skip a beat. I can almost think they slept together but alas, Yuri destroys that dream not so long after as she says she did the thing last night.

As usual their conversations start out funny, like earlier on when Yuri first saw Kairi’s Y and she said, it’s not there, meaning hair of course but Kairi was like, of course I don’t have it, I am a girl, meaning an elephant of course.

Here Yuri tries to explain that she shaved her Y last night, but she can’t quite say it and she has to do things like pointing at boiled eggs or using childhood metaphors or saying that she is now the same as Kairi. Poor Kairi is confused as heck at what Yuri is trying to say to her.

Kairi for her part looked more disappointed than anything. She probably feels like a chance was stolen from her (I bet she wanted to see that Yuri but alas). Kairi you just know has her own opinion of the issue and she let’s Yuri have it. All the downsides of shaving and how there is like, 3 in a 100 people who are int shaving. Or how it hurts when it starts to grow back, which will come soon.

Mostly though, it comes down to Yuri letting people drive her life. She is so trusting but while that is a negative in and of itself, Kairi loves Yuri for that so when Yuri says she will change and be more careful, Kairi says that she should not. She doesn’t want her to change. Yuri is adamant as she doesn’t want to be made a fool of and taken advantage of because of it but Yuri drops the best line and thus gives us the best moment of the episode when she promises…

Kairi promises to protect Yuri. She will protect her, so Yuri doesn’t have to change. Yuri should just stay herself!

Like, how awesome is Kairi you all!?!

And that is not just talk because like I said, all this episode where she was not with Yuri she was basically protecting her from her stalker AKA Sensei. Unlike Yuri who…

Ah shit, here we go again!

Fine, I just to talk about them two! Like, raise your hand if you thought Yuri felt anything but jealousy towards Boss last episode! I see zero hands! Why? Because she said it herself!!!! And yet here she was, trying to set Kairi up with him?! Like wtf even!!

It’s better to talk about Kairi’s side of things because at least there she was making true to her word when she said she would protect Yuri! The two are having lunch at the place Yuri works at (which Kairi knew she was not on shift hence they went there) and Sensei is surprised that Kairi is not out to tell on him. But she tells him of how Yuri sees him and what his relationship to his wife means to Yuri.

Were Yuri to find out that he was her stalker, basically that part of her life would come crushing down and might affect the way she sees the world and when people see these things, it most certainly changes them but like Kairi said, she did not want Yuri to change so she is going to keep that truth about Sensei a secret. I had a feeling that she was asking him to make that view true if it had been a lie. That he should live the life that Yuri imagine him living, not the lie.

Kairi, I love her so much! I will have to go back to, if you don’t want her Yuri, there is a line for her!

And just like that we are back to the other side of the coin that is Yuri and Boss’ talk. Just as always Yuri is off spouting all secrets to people! Like, WTF are you talking about Kairi’s private life to her Boss?! What if it affects her professional life?! I can understand with your so called best friends but you have just met the guy like, once! Like, what the hell! I understand this is your character but…come the fuck on!

Enough of this, let’s get back to our girls.

Ignoring the the ‘friend’ being thrown around like it was the best thing since sliced bread, I am setting up the girl that obviously likes me with a guy because we are best friends, let me help you pull off your pants and wipe your Y and there won’t be any awkwardness because we are best friends.

Like, did someone completely different direct and write this episode, without seeing the previous episodes?! I mean, for crying out loud! Kairi is there, kneeling before a completely naked (waist down) Yuri and I don’t even feel nothing! And if I am not feeling nothing, then there is no way she is feeling anything!

Like, come on!

How the hell is Kairi taking off Yuri’s panties so…bland!!

Yeah, like, not even competition, this is the worst episode so far. But even with that, I have a feeling that the next one is going to out-do this one!
