Hitomi still can’t handle Maika’s intensity!

Before we commence, while we are still on the subject of Maika being Alpha, I just want to bring forward evidence to support my claim of Maika being the coolest member on this group =LOVE.

I am not sure how many of you watched or even remember those three special Nemousu episodes that were about =LOVE promoting their first single =LOVE but during those episodes Sashiko was commentating on the girls and when it came to Maika, she likened her to one Sayaka – The Akimoto Sayaka! Like, you can’t get more Alpha than Akimoto Sayaka!

Interestingly Maika doesn’t give off a vibe of a masculine girl but every once in a while it just comes out in the way she acts. Like even in those twitter pics where she so obviously looks girlish, she still comes off as a ‘don’t fuck with me’ kind of girl!

I love her!

Anyway back to the main subject at hand, the Making of Starts with the interview of the couple of the single being interviewed by the youngest (Saitou Kiara) and the oldest (Morohashi Sana) members. I call Hitomaika the ‘couple of the single’ because it is here that prove it canon what I speculated that they are the only real couple with mutual feelings in the Music Video.

*Still can’t get over the fact that Maika is shorter than Hitomi for some reason*

Hitomi confirms that she is straight up (fufu) in love with Maika, in the MV world, while Maika says that despite her confusing feelings with Iori, she too loves Hitomi and says that the Iori thing was more to do with making Hitomi love her even more (You beast!).

A good start to the video if you ask me! And BTW, Kiara asks them to kiss the first thing when they got together (She is one of us!)!

Then there was that scene, that scene outside that hit me like the Bath Scene from The Handmaiden! The love in Hitomi’s eyes! Almost like a reversal on all those times Maika has had starry eyes for Hitomi in all those videos (Soon™) and now Hitomi is doing all the ogling while Maika is playing it cool (but not being embarrassed like Hitomi always is – then again that would be out of character for her so…)

Anyway, the scene – the eye sex, the hand sex, the hair play, the zero distance, the cuddling

Then there is the NTR scene, which made me laugh because right after filming the scene, Maika came right back to Hitomi, holding her hand almost as if she was apologising. Um Maika, this is not real…or is it…Then again, this is the girl that dreamed of Hitomi dying, cried her eyes out about it and called her first thing to make sure she was still alive!

They are about to film the final scene. We begin with Maika making a kissing face with sound) towards Hitomi. She says that it is finally time that the two reciprocated their feelings. To which Hitomi reprimands her for taking so long to return her feelings. Maika apologises and they break out laughing.

At this point I realise that when they were talking about their MV characters, they never distinguished from reality and fiction which made me spill my tea! You know how usually other BTS videos the girls try real hard to refer to their characters in third person just so there is no confusion? Well these two DGAF!

And I love it!

 

 
 

And of course the final scene – the KISS scene! Interestingly the kiss was hidden in the actual MV but in the BTS during that first episode of season 2 of that Sashiko show (Kono Yubi wo Tomare), we got to see it, actually see the kiss and it is a real kiss! Not those trick of the camera type of kisses but a real honest to God kiss, and TWO of them!

I haven’t felt this good watching an Idol MV since KataFina!

I am so happy and glad that I went out of my way to go and buy this single myself! I don’t miss those few hundred bucks at all (bought other things too)!
