Hmmm Chroma…I love art!

Was it all a dream or was it just too short a moment that it flew by? Does love at first sight really exist or is it simply an instant attraction? Does it matter how long you love someone, how long you are with someone, or are the feelings the same no matter how much time you spend together?

So many questions, and no answers! But all of those questions apply to this 3^rd Music Video of the Jenny song by BETS. Time is irrelevant here. You can take it as being a single day, days, weeks or months and they would all apply! I am going for the single day logic because the timeline is consistent.

The two meet in the morning at the train platform and they end in the wee hours of morning. Coincidence? I think not! All the things they did can be archived within a timeframe of a single day. They meet (and by the way, I need to try out that trick and see if I can pick up a girl too!), they take a ride to a certain town. They go exploring. Hit a pub where the flirting starts. Having had a few, they go exploring some more where they share their first kiss. Exploring goes on until the night where one invites the other to her home. Magic and the rest happens. The guest leaves while her host is still asleep.

One fine day is over!

That is basically this MV but I am not going to let it end just like that! Compared to the other two, this one brings its own flavour into the mix and the most obvious ingredient is the artistry of it all. First the monochrome picture caught me off guard. I really had to play the video a few times with different players to see if it was not my hardware. Then there is the actual fact that our Top girl is into photography which places even more emphasis on the artistic flavour of this MV.

Then bringing some common ground to all, this one too is filled with Hand-sex, my kind of sex! You can give me a movie with only couples holding hands and I will pick it over a movie that has sex but no hand-holding! Take that fake-ass love out of here! If they don’t hold hands, they are not in love!

Ooh, I should make that a slogan! Maybe…

This MV also brought some more cutesy feels to the table with the dance lessons in the beginning, then the hand-teasing in the same bar scene later on and not to forget that bath-scene. Sure ‘Live and Learn’ had one but that was too meta and had a solo purpose. Here though it was just a cute bath scene. Eye-sex, hand-sex, some alcohol, some nuzzling but nothing extreme. That was left for the bed where it should be!

It also is in the middle of the endings for the first two MVs. It is kind of a BAD END in that they went their separate ways but also kind of a GOOD END in that their feelings were mutual and the girl that left didn’t just disappear altogether. She left some souvenirs of the photos of them together and also that goodbye kiss was too sweet. Who knows, maybe she even left her number somewhere to be contacted later on.

The possibility of them meeting again is at least there and the other was not left in pain too so there is that.
