These be AKB48 KKS (16th Generation) members Suzuki Kurumi (Mayuyu-size) and Michieda Saki (Yukirin-size). Now I don’t usually do ‘next gen’ or that type of bull but just look at them, I mean, they almost have everything Mayuki…

But before we go farther, I wish to apologise to all fellow Anime fans out there! There is one couple in the community (for those who remember) that are named Saki and Kurumi and I am sure you probably thought of this having seen the name. I sure as hell thought of them too first when I learned there was a potential ship in the 16th Gen girls named Saki and Kurumi too.

So, to ask for forgiveness…

Starting with the size, seeing as I used it to describe who is whom, these two have that magical height difference that MAYUKI have. Interestingly, Kurumi is actually the older of the two despite being the shorter and somewhat childish looking. Perfect height difference as far as I am concerned!

Then there is that MAYUKI freedom that you very rarely see. The only other two fellows that I remember seeing it from was Sayacchu. Now sure there are many free spirited individuals but to find a pair that goof off together is very rare and no one does it like MAYUKI.

This of course leads to them being in their own little world where it is just the two of them. You can just tell that they are in that world. KURUMISAKI also have that! I have only watched two stages of KKS9, one being Kurumi’s seintasai and the other being Harima Nanami’s BD –  that lovely loli that was on the latest AKBINGO with her lovely imouto.

Needless to say, I struck gold because that Kurumi BD performance was a true mine of these two. As you can expect I am in the middle of getting all KKS9 videos and soon will be watching all of them! Just for these two!

I mean like, even in Nanami chan’s BD performance, they were still trying to steal my heart with tem practically goofing off like MAYUKI would, holding hands almost throughout the whole MC, and not just simply holding! Like, how can I resist?

Saki interestingly again is more of the Mayuyu of the pair whereas Kurumi, is somewhat the mature one, somewhat. Sakipon starts things most of the time but sometimes Kururun is the one that initiates the goofiness.

Even in the middle of a song, or in the middle of some other member talking, they still goof off. That is true MAYUKI spirit right there.

Really, even in the performances themselves. And those reactions! Kurumi is the more extreme performer whereas Saki is the more reactionary. They just share the qualities of MAYUKI so far but it might be because I just got to know them.

I will be keeping an eye on these two of course, no, for sure, and I hope it is not just because they are steal innocent. I guess the test of time will be the final nail. Will they survive it? Will they still be like this a few months, years even down?

We shall see. if they do pass the test of time, if they are still MAYUKI-spirited come next year and the year after that, then maybe, just maybe, they might make me stay after Yukirin leaves!

Yes, that is how big a deal they are to me now. It is up to you now girls, whether I stay with Team Yasusu after Yukirin leaves or not!
