Seishun Tokei 青春時計

So the covers and full PV for NGT48’s debut single are out and I totally love it! Such great amount of Yukirin it’s almost shocking! Seriously, it’s even more than what she gets in a frikkin AKB single PV it’s madness! I’m not sure if they are making up for the 315 incident or if I have to thank Sony for getting shit done but either way I am very happy and thank whoever is responsible!

 

 
 
Covers

First of all I love the covers so damn much! So simple and yet so elegant! No selectiveness and compromising! The colours blend so well together and these are NGT48’s colours (Red and White)! There is so much hidden within like of you take the theme of Captain Kitarie leading all of them (the way she looks behind her) and then end it up with Yukirin-senpai in the back watching over her kouhai. Like, talk about MAGIC!

All girls are there, no one is a sore thumb they are all equal, a theme I hope continues on for NGT! People are having having wars over Rika and Katomina over this FIRST single center! Some are like Katomina should be center because she is the face and this is their first single and if Rika is centre because of popularity then it should be Katomina since she ranked higher in SSK!

You can imagine what me, a veteran Yukirin fan thinks of these child wars!

They are not even thinking of the fact that Katomina is still the Ace of NGT, or the fact that the last song they had was centred by someone else (Okapa), or the fact that there are girls like Honma-chan (my NGT48 Oshii BTW), OgiYuka and Ayakani rising on their own and some of them receiving nods from Management.

As for the song, since I prefer soft songs, and thus was totally hooked on the soft rap they have going on in this song, this was just right up my alley. These types of songs are Yukirin’s play ground and her voice was floating through clearly that the grin on my face would make the Devil jealous!

Is this a dream? All that Yukirin, in a none-AKB single!! Actually now that I think about it, even Don’t Look Back (NMB48) had more Yukirin than a typical AKB48 single! Like, how am I supposed to overlook the anti-bias on AKS’s part with this much evidence? But nothing can be done about that now, maybe in the future when Yukirin decides to sue them but for now it is no use crying over spilled milk!

And am I glad Sony got NGT! Sony has done wonders for the 46 family and from the look of things from this first single NGT48 is in great hands! Such a peaceful song, such a comforting PV! Seriously, no other way to make a connection MV that is about the places and their people, in this case Niigata! The song fits NGT’s image perfectly and for now it is okay to do these types of songs where the first sell their place in the world before they begin working on other songs once they build their connections! Future songs are going to be different for sure!

What took the cake for me though was…

 

Alright, alright, I am calm, okay? I am calm! My NGT48 Oshii Honma-chan, holding hands with my Kami of all idols Yukirin? Nope, not freaking out at all! it’s not like on the other hand she has my previous Oshii Ogiyuka before I got to know Honma-chan…
