Have we finally got the drama to end all dramas!? Has The Painter of the Wind’s reign as the best Drama come to an end?! Is this it dear Readers?! I mean for the love of all that is holy we have got;

1. An honest to God Senpai/Kouhai god-tier canon ship
2. A quadriangle between two girls and two tomboys
3. An all female-led main cast
4. Friends with benefits
5. Awesome sketchy rivalries
6. (Cute x infinity) characters

 

Like, how can others even compete?! I am telling you guys, where Condo/Barista/Architect failed, Thailand has finally done it! They have taken a trophy away from South Korean with this one as the best Yuri Drama to ever grace us!

But for some reason the buzz is no where close to where it should be with this series! The subs are in lack for such a contender for Best Series. What is up with you Lakorn fans?! Don’t you know greatness when you see it? I thought you had an eye for these things?! What happened to you?

No, don’t tell me to calm down. of course I have seen up to ep16! What are you talking about?! How dare you?! You would dare tell me that I am wrong?! That I am deluding myself with half of those ships?! Why you I ought to-…

What went wrong?

Let’s begin with these two friends. The promo led us to believe that there would be something between them, as seen by the last scene of them just about to kiss. But what happened in the series? Nothing! only a misunderstanding on the observers’ part. Just seeing them from the wrong angle and at the wrong time kind of cliché false bait! We at episode 16 and there is no indication of any feelings between them whatsoever! One of them is practically in love with a Dude at the moment (even though her mother disapproves, where she somewhat kind of approved of her daughter with out Alpha Kouhai).

But I am not even mad at this. When I started out watching this I did not know of any promos so I wasn’t expecting anything from these two anyway and I never saw anything even during those bait scenes!

I can forgive that however. What I cannot forgive no matter how much time passes, unless Alpha Senpai comes to her senses and chooses Alpha Kouhai over the Dude for END GAME, which I doubt will happen and even if it does happen it better be grand because after nearly half the show so far without my main Senpai/Kouhai interacting will make their get together in the end so un-worthy, especially when you consider what they have gone through, well, what Kouhai has gone through.

Sorry, I am so pissed at this drama that I even forgot the characters’ names! And I had them without even the subtitles! The power of yuri had come through for me once again before episode 5 and I actually understood Thai for a split second in heaven during those first four episodes! Right now though, my mind is blank! And there is no way I am going through this again just for their names! Somebody wake me up when they return to them or find out juicy info for future episodes!

Any way the Senpai/Kouhai ship I am talking about should be obvious but in case it isn’t, here it is in all its 80 something caps…

Dear Readers, I’m sorry to break it to you but what you have just seen is not real! This ship does not exist! Blame the flash if you want, I mean that is another way explain this! The easier way in fact! Unless you want to tell me why this is not a thing! By episode 16 this ship does not even exist! It’s as if it has been completely wiped from existence, or maybe just this timeline? Damn it Flash, what did you do now?!

No, I am serious! Some how this ship is D.E.A.D! The only kiss we have seen in the 16 episodes! The only actual effort any character has shown in letting the other person know they love them is in this ship on Kouhai’s part. The most felt suffering because of love is on her part too in the series! She has withstood being bullied (physically attacked!) because of her love for Senpai! She has tried, she has pushed, she has given herself away to Senpai and yet all that effort, all that cheering for her to succeed, all of that…

OUT THE FRIKKIN WINDOW!!!

16 episodes and since ep5 these two have not exchanged a word, or even have them think of the other, not until that scene in ep 12 where Kouhai came back and gave Senpai a gift! Despite everything that she had done to her, wrongfully accusing her, using her friend to break off Kouhai’s advances with that faux love! Despite that, she is still loving her but are they trying to put the girl out of her pain? Nope! Instead not only is Senpai finding herself a boy but now there is this…thing…that is being implied with her and one of the Tomboys, yes, one of them, and especially the one that tried to get to second base first but faux kissing their crush!

And don’t get me started on the promo video! if that video is to be believed, Senpai will have a thing with her friend and this time not faux! if that happens, like, WTF even?! She denied the best Kouhai in the world, only to fall for a guy, then switch to the tomboy, then to one of her girl friends, but not the best girl that showed her what love is? The best girl that gave her her first kiss? The only kiss of the damn series!?!!

All that godly progress in the first four episodes, wasted! Despite being her first kiss we did not even see Senpai give that night a fleeting thought! Nope, we did not even get to see Kouhai-chan brood in peace! No, they had to have Senpai hurt her some more but wrongfully accusing her of scheming to attach her faux lover, because since she was villainous enough to use faux girlfriend to fend off Kouhai, she think lovely Kouhai is that devious as well!!

Get out of here!

Girl, this show made me so mad! These days I am waiting until a few episodes are out so I can scroll through them until that one episode that has Kouhai in it. Since 12 she has not appeared again! Maybe this week’s White Day Senpai will return the favour and give her something?!

Seriously, what the heck happened?! if this ship sailed, this series would be such a hit I am sure of it! We would be drinking it up like wine on Christmas! But instead all we have now is the Quadriangle and even that is not going smoothly! Sometime it is completely forgotten about for long periods because of some other drama! Seriously, I think the girls cried 20 times or something in the latest four episodes!
