Damn you Age of Youth! How can you take such a giant step forward for the Community only to take >9000 backwards in the same episode?!

I am disappoint!

Well kinda. Not that this is all the show’s fault! But if they end episode 8 on such a high note and start of episode 9 with an even note to that of the last episode, can you blame a citizen of the community having hopes and dreams of Yi-eun (That’s my ship name of the two) and insanely falling in love with this ship?!

I mean, I was not expecting Ye-eun to be over her boyfriend so quickly but I have a feeling they are going to go over-board with the after-effects. In the next episodes I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw her have nervous break-downs  because of of her break-up, which by the way, I had feared had happened in the ‘bathroom’ scene.

Now to be fair, the show did make it clear on how ab-normally attached Ye-eun was to her  boyfriend so if does indeed go crazy because of him it is understandable. I am just worried that they might use that as an excuse to get them back together and them trying to redeem the guy (okay, he wasn’t that bad actually. There are worse guys out there) but if you went into all that trouble to break them up, why bother putting them back together?

What even…?! And second time in a row they’ve ended up on the floor!

Meanwhile Yi-na is not making things any easier either, when she is suddenly starting to obsess over the guy (even though she tells us she is done with that thread of her life, ha!). I can handle Ye-eun and her boyfriend but if they make Yi-na and that guy a thing, I am ain’t gonna lie, I am going to be royally pissed! Yes, yes, not the show’s fault. They can do whatever they want. Doesn’t mean I have to like it either!

I mean, we already have two (or three) established straight couples. Why can’t we have something different? Even if Ye-eun is in an abusive relationship and if Yi-na and that guy happen they are in the ‘forbidden’ territory of relationships, those are all still straight couples!

Come on JTBC I thought you were awesome!! Now, I am well aware how your last experiment and support for the Korean community went down (Sunam Girls Detective Squad) but come on! Are you going to let that minor step-back give you cold feet? That was last time. They are now already shocked, they won’t be again! The system let you air that show last time so they can’t refuse you now and really, all you have to do is not have Yi-eun kiss and you are safe!

We don’t need kisses! We don’t need sex scenes. Not that you can do that anyway with our ship made up of Idols. come now, a confessions is okay. Cute moments are okay. Dates are very okay! Ye-eun already have built supporters and we will be behind you this time! This is not a one-off thing like that last try. These are established characters who have won over fanbases so do it already!
