What. Is. This?!
I said what…
the hell…
is…
this?!!!
What is…Okay, you know what? I don’t even care! I am totally ignoring what I am seeing! Yep! I am so not going to over-analyse anything! n. I have totally learned my lesson from the countless times that I have watched bait dramas and got hurt by it. Yes, totally learned my lesson. Seriously you guys, this is me finally throwing in the towel. I am so done! I am being serious! I…
Oh, who am I kidding! I am never going to learn! Any way at this rate my heart is now almost stone from all the hurting it has gone through so really, what’s the use? And so with that said, I know both Yi Na and Ye Eun are straighter than the Dublin Spire but I don’t give a fuck! I ship them light speed style!
And with that said dear Ye Eun, Yi na is also just a girl. She is awesome but just a girl. So of course she gets scared! Just remember that the millionth time she saves your ass and protects you from the evils of this world, ya? Like how she stood up for you to your abusive boyfriend who man-handled you last time. Or…
How she so worries about you when you stupidly run into traffic. Or..
How she saved ur ass from being posted on the internet while being raped!!!
And while we are on the bar scene, let me just say that I was down for that three some! Hell, with that smile Ye Eun was totally down for it too! Yeah, you know me I hate threesomes but if I am going to get some Yi-eun action then sacrifices have to be made!
But did you noticed how so aware Ye Eun was when Yi Na came over the first time? Someone who is piss drunk, like she was supposed to be, should not have even realised that someone had entered the room, like you know the other occupants. And other than that, when Yi Na turned and left the smile Ye Eun gave was kind of sad, wasn’t it? It was like she had given up and surrendered herself to her fate.
Too bad for her Yi Na was not like anybody else who would have just left her there. she instead came back for her and even dropping the BOMB (which I like to refer to it as) and while it was just a device it made my stone heart jump a little! I mean come on, there are many things, many excuses she would have given instead of LOVER! Sister, roommate, friend, cousin, anything would have done and yet!
Well, you can say that the others wouldn’t have garnered the same reaction like LOVER did (which was pretty LOL by the way, the guy being frozen in his tracks like that…). And if you think I am not going to touch upon the fact that the very aware Ye Eun did not even object to the very idea of them being lovers, well, you dear Reader need to stick around and get to know me better, ya?
And how brave Yi Na really is! Seriously, this is the same girl that was nearly strangled to death not long ago and yet here she was, standing up to another Dude, who she knew from her friend that called her to tell her about Ye Eun’s shenanigans, that he was very bad news! She was pushing him around like she wasn’t scared of him retaliating, especially if he was intoxicated which makes him more dangerous!
I sure hope Ye Eun thinks of all of this when she is sober later on and realises just how good Yi Na has been to her so far! Seriously Yi Na has displayed more Lover charms towards Ye Eun than her supposed boyfriend…Oh excuse me – Ex-boyfriend, has done! And speaking of him…
Ye Eun had the very same conversation with Yi Na…
Understatement of the century!
Yi-eun is so intense!! Best chemistry on the show? Best chemistry on the show it is! I swear, if these two, my a sprinkle of good luck, do end up a thing, they are going to be the best developed TV couple. Next only to Pong and Tle of course.
And let me tell you something now. if they end up together, Yi-eun won’t have the same reception as Soo-yeon and Eun-bin. Of course that might be partly due to the fact that they took most of the shock factor hate but there seems to be a great voice of support behind Yi-eun.
Though I guess not actually kissing might take away the heat as well. I have a feeling that if Yun-bok and Jeong-hyang had actually kissed on screen, they so wouldn’t have won that Best Couple Award in 2008. Yes i know, shit makes no sense but I am not Korean so I can’t explain!
Like, how many times has Ye Eun threatened to kill Yi Na now? She doesn’t even know it but threatening to kill Yi Na isn’t the best things to her heart right now. The girl just narrowly avoided getting killed and then there you go making such threats. Of course not that Ye Eun can actually take Yi Na which is why Yi Na doesn’t pay it much attention but it still has to hurt a little.
Well, one thing is for sure, these two’s love life would be anything but boring! Going from death threats…
To quarrelling…
to kinda hating…
to being affectionate with each other!
Like, how am I even supposed to resist? How big a heart does Yi Na even have?! How can she still be so caring towards Ye Eun despite everything? I mean to us as viewers we can understand Ye Eun’s situation but if you were in the middle of it you wouldn’t! And even if you knew you so would not handle things well. And yet Yi Na…Yi Na is always there for Ye Eun. She is always putting out the fires even if she is not the ones that starts them. Sure she is connected but it is all on Ye Eun.
And another little thing I noticed is that we are on episode 8 and Yi Na knows ye Eun more intimately than anyone else. I mean that is the sense that she has seen her at her low twice now! Or even three counting the almost killing herself because of a stupid misunderstanding. The first was when Yi Na saw Ye Eun being abused by her boyfriend…Goddamit!! EX-BOYFRIEND!! That’s the last time I make that mistake, you hear me?
And then the next is there when she throws up all over herself! All these times it’s been Yi Na who was with her. Both times Yi Na has been there to care for her. I just love the way her caring heart just comes out no matter the circumstances when Ye Eun needs care.
As for the hating part, we of course know they don’t mean it literally. Okay, so maybe Ye Eun might mean it a little bit but I don’t think she actually means it as actual hate. Remember this conversation? or more like advice from our dearest Yi Na?
Um yeah, after this, that I hate you conversation takes on a whole new meaning, doesn’t it?
But speaking of that scene…
Why are you opening the bottle for her? She is not a baby!
Why are you cleaning her vomit for her? She is not a…Oh forget it!
Excuse me. I need to see that in motion…
Perfect!
I’m sorry but I don’t care how close we are. There is no way I would wipe my friend’s vomit for them! Especially if they are conscious and alert! Take care of that shit yourself when you get home! Yi Na is just so good to Ye Eun! Thaat’s some deep connection right there, if I ever saw one.
And with the way things ended with Ye Eun this episode…
How not to ship, now that nothing stands in our way! And that is not all. The ending just had to go and do this…

Can I have a surtante moment with you? This is a drama that I’m still dubious to begin track with subtitles, but watch the raw whenever out, but after certain scenes, I was curious, but as you said, we are already accustomed to already know that will not roll some ships, but no use even like to suffer, indeed! These two exude a very perfect chemistry that love and hate, and how JTBC has proven that it has the courage to be controversial (Kiss – Seonam High School) and that we would not find anything bad to happen something more between them, they were faster many couples in dramas that attended, providing:
Kiss (even if not romantic, it was interesting, may have lit a spark) – ok
Scene climate of something else (Yina drunk falling on Ye -Eun) – ok
“LOVER” ??? SHE REALLY SAID THAT, I could not believe when I heard, I saw no caption even not knowing Korean so well right words already have familiarity, and this is one of them, but I could not believe I had to wait the legend out to confirm and really WAS THAT !!
Heroin saving maiden danger – ok
Just missing they take at once!
I remembered something, for the character of Yina, as not watch all subtitled episodes, but only the part of the two may have misunderstood, but Yina is described as a femme fatale that every night is with a different man, a few years ago watched a special Korean drama Daughters of Club Bilitis, I think I read a post here about it, and watching Age of Youth (Yina-YEEUN) reminded me of a scene in which the second couple around 30 ‘which one ends pregnant, talk to mate when younger at the time of school it every time was a different man, that people thought she was crazy about men, but in fact she did not feel anything with them, but she did not dare assume that liked women, to find the right person who turned out to be a woman, the description of Yuna reminded me a bit this story.
Sorry I think I overdid it, got carried away a bit, but I can all happen depends only on the channel and the writers do happen, because I think they are giving many signs that they want to develop the relationship between the two for something beyond friendship (As you said, many excuses could have been used in the club because the choice was soon “LOVER” all others?), there would be so many scenes like this with an atmosphere and such a strong chemistry between the two is the responsálvel staff for drama did not want we had these feelings, but just dreaming, if it does not at least I can create a fanfic with my perfect ending. kkk

First of all dearest Marcelle, never apologise for long comments. I love those the most. It may seem childish but I feel more love coming from longer comments than short ones (psst, don’t tell anyone!)
And thank you for bringing up Club Bilitis, I totally did not see that connection! Now I need to go back and watch it! But what you say actually makes sense. Especially with how differently I-na (seeing the way you named her made me go look it up and this is how Hancinema has it listed) looks at the world after her ‘death’. She probably doesn’t even know it, that seeing these many many and not falling in love is not because of her different look on life but rather because she hasn’t found her one true love – the love that is there right next to her and she just doesn’t know it yet.
The love that could be Ye-Eun (I beg of you JTBC, kick logic in the butt once again and give us Yi-eun, or is that I-eun now? ^_-)
It is blantantly clear now that Ye-eun and I-na are bringing in the viewers. I have a feeling that things are going to turn into our favour. What if JTBC was only tasting the waters with Sunam Girls and Age of Youth is going to be taking things to another level? Of course there is that fact that both Hwa-young and Seung-yeon are/were idols so I doubt that they can go that extra mile.
But that is why dreams exist, am I right?
Oh man, I so ship these two so hard! Every time they are on the screen they bring life with them. e it when they are arguing/fighting or being affectionate with each other. They are just so perfect for each other!
Make it happen JTBC, please make it happen! Give us the ‘Lily Fever’ we never got to finish! Do it!

We deserve all this !!

I ship them. I really do. Their story arc whenever they’re together screams future lovers to me but then again I usually watch these things with yuri colored lens… so it kinda feels like i’m setting myself up to a heartbreak.. oh well order me up some heartbreak
