Just when I think Nogizaka singles couldn’t possibly get any more awesome, the latest, the 11th, goes and proves me wrong! You know those mini-drama episodes that come with the singles? You know, the ones that previously were solo? Yeah, I got tired of those real fast to the point of not remembering when I last watched them. It was precisely that reason that I decided to watch them now, I mean something must have changed, right?! They couldn’t possibly do the same thing for all those singles!

My curiosity was rewarded grandly! This time they paired up the members (sometimes more than two) for each mini drama and it might just be me but the quality sky-rocketed so high! Seriously, some of these would pass for a full feature length! Like the NGS ship (Wakatsuki-sama and Nanase) one or that Ikoma-kun and Marika one too! Seriously there was some good stuff this time around! And I gotta say it right now, the cuteness of that Asuka/Minami video was out of this world! I am a secret shipper (secret no more I guess) of these two and have been waiting for something of the two and viola! This is now going into FanFiction territory! Seriously, I am not the only one that thought of this as a continuation of that Mukuchi no Lion PV, right?! I mean at the end of that PV, Nanase confessed her love to Waka-sama by kissing her (a kiss that Reika witnessed BTW!!!!) then left which was pointing to the two going their separate ways, probably Nanase transferred school right after that!

Enter this PV where Waka-sama is about to graduate. She has a really cute Kouhai with whom she had these great moments. I swear at first I thought it was Waka-sama that the Kouhai had a crush on but nay, the Nanase love that Nogizaka Management have is just too strong! Really, it was such a waste. it could have put more emotion and drama into their dialogue. Waka-sama knows that her Kouhai has a crush on a Senpai. She encourages her to confess because feelings of regret are the worst.

She even prepares her by helping her put on lip-stick (Waka-sama’s lipstick  – Lipstick lesbians!!!!) and I feel that this scene was wasted because if the Kouhai had feelings for Waka-sama, there are many ways this could have gone! But alas! Turns out the Senpai was a guy, whom she confessed to but got dumped. Waka-sama saw this happened. The Kouhai looked really devastated so Waka-sama ran over to comfort her and yet again, another thread of fate lost because we could have seen them weave another chance from this. Waka-sama comforts her Kouhai, who finds herself lost in a sea of feelings wondering why Waka-sama was so good to her and before you know it…let’s just say it has happened before!

Meanwhile, Nanase has her own Kouhai with whom she comes to visit this old school of hers. Nanase’s Kouhai too seems to have some deep feelings for her but Nanase is lost in the past. Turns out she isn’t graduating until next year which means she was a year lower than Waka-sama or maybe she fell a year behind because of the reasons for the school change?

Anyway  the school she comes to is the one Waka-sama is at. We heard Waka-sama talk as if she had gone through a confession that was not successful when she was comforting her Kouhai after she was dumped. Better yet, as she said this, we were shown scenes of Nanase as she made her way through the corridors to eventually make her way to the rooftops.

So, there was no denying that Nanase and Waka-sama were connected and there is this last scene when Nanase makes it to the rooftop, where Waka-sama was left on her own after her Kouhai split (And everything was looking good but they had to be slayed to make room for Nanase I guess). When she gets there, she freezes and you can just tell that she is looking straight at Waka-sama!

Yeah, this is a continuation fan fic to that Mukuchi no Lion PV without a doubt! Those people in Nogizaka’s Management love their ship!

Next up is that Ikoma Rina and Itou Marika short. If my yuri powers didn’t fail me, you know, the ones that sometimes make me understand Japanese? If they didn’t fail me, then Ikoma-kun and Marika are sisters. In fact they are twins and for reasons not told, or I missed, their parents are separated and Marika is living with their mother while Ikoma-kun lives with their father.

It seems this is the first time they’ve gotten together like this for a while and will be that way until the next time. So, how did they spend their time together? Well, I don’t know if it’s because it’s recent but as soon as I saw the first 30 seconds of this video, Houkago Lost, more specifically, the ‘Harmonic’ story arc popped into my head. They spent their time recording various sounds and their secrets. At the end when they were going their separate ways, they exchanged the recordings as a way for them to keep a piece of each other with themselves and I say it now, story wise I really loved this segment!

It really felt like a real movie and Ikoma and Marika were just great in their roles. I felt really sad and almost cried when things started falling into lace. I really want to see a feature length version of this now, I really do! After ‘The Only Two Girls on Earth’ and ‘BRULEE’, I am ready to believe in another movie like that to be a sure winner!

As if hearing my prayers and answering two of my wishes, Nogizaka goes and dumps on me this vid of Noujou and Kazumin like it’s nobody’s business! I said it before here but I have been dying for a ship to break out between the comedians of Nogizaka and here we go!

Okay, so this wasn’t yuri but damn I will take anything! It was really painful sitting through their 100% engrish but you have to realise how hard it was for them to do this! Imagine trying to have Japanese conversations! Um, yeah, not a pretty sight!

This wasn’t really yuri but even accidentally, I will take my hands thank you very much. Add on that Noujou leaning over a sexy looking Kazumin and I am one happy camper!

Then there was this mini starring Akimoto Manatsu and Nakamoto Himeka that had all the makings of a great thriller/horror story! Seriously, if this was a movie, a very well made movie, it would give Face Off a run for its money! Identity disorder movies are always fun! Though the brutal way that this story was ending was bordering on the horror side of things.

What really attracted me to this video in the first place was the choice for the paring! There is something about these two that is so attractive but I can’t put my finger on it! Whatever the case maybe, they were the perfect choice for this! And of course I ship it now!

Well, this is…How could I possibly not talk about my No.2 and my No.2!! And by that I mean that Rena is my 48G No.2 next to Yukirin whereas Miona is my No.2 in Nogizaka after Ikoma-kun! These two together was the cheapest shot I have ever seen! Hoochan brought her her inner demon from baretta and Tsuki no Ookisa PVs here and in the process proceeded to bring out the Gekikara we all know and love in Rena!

And there was some seduction going on there which I know will lead somewhere wherever the story goes! Praising Rena’s hair, touching it, calling Rena cute multiple times, not to mention that she knows Rena’s inner demons! These two were made for each other and if the ending is any indication, the world is about to be at the mercy of these two, and their deranged love carnage!

Does anything even need to be said? Seriously, does anything?! Okay, maybe one – I want a double Center with these two for the next single Nogizaka!!! Make it happen!!

So yeah, this single is just great.. The music itself is something we have come to expect from every Nogizaka single and I am still firm in my belief that when Yasusu writes songs, he picks out the best from the bunch, give those to Nogizaka and throws the scraps to AKB48G! There is no other explanation!
