So, me be back! The nightmare is finally over! Man, I hate exams!

So anyway, I spent all day yesterday trying to keep up with all the vids I was holding off watching because of the stupid exams and I found that there was a lot to get through. I will try to see if I could post my thoughts on the relevant ones in the coming days. For now I am going to quickly go through a couple.

 
 

 
 

And of course where to better start than the title itself? The last Arubaito episode of 2014 was really significant in that it showed the first time ever that these two got themselves presents. Which kind of actually makes me ship them even more due to the fact that when the Part-Time AKB girls asked them individually who they thought their present was from, the got the guesses the first time. Isn’t that just FEEL inducing? I mean think about it: These two have never given each other presents and when they receive one, they think of each other first. So in that sense, even though for some reason they never gave each other presents until this episode, they still hoped for the other to give them presents. They wanted each other’s presents the most.

Now, okay Mayuyu thought the gift was from her Mom but…Yes, you just laughed at that, didn’t you? We all know Mayuyu keeps calling Y\ukirin her Mom, she even gave her the Mamarin nickname (which Yukirin actually uses herself on Twitter) so she was actually right!

Seriously though, how romantic is that? Their first Christmas gift in over 8 years they have been together!!! If they are that shy about giving presents, which they are do want judging from the guesses, what other things are they still shying from? Maybe some time in the future, especially now with Sakura putting the heat on, Mayuyu will finally cave and claim Yukirin as not her mother but her everything!! And it seems like I might be right since apparently, they did quite a lot of Kabe-don during the Yamagata Tour Concert! Yes people, Mayuki did a Kabe-don and more than once apparently. Of course Yukirin already did it, albeit subtly, during that one Kuramochi Team B performance that I already posted about but still, this is the real deal apparently.

Speaking of Mayuki and Sakura, those Year’s End performances were truly interesting. SO much blocking was going on my between these three that I couldn’t even put my mouth in a straight line.

Obviously I might be the only one in this so I apologise for my fan-girling over this but I am really getting a good feeling lately. Sakura and Yukirin have started to be placed close together in performances and I hope that the more times they are close the more Management see the potential for grander things! I mean those latest performances have just been so delicious. And Sakura isn’t just letting herself be close but rather she is taking advantage of the situation now and is making Yukirin notice her!

That particular can from the Japan Record Awards where Mayuki are doing their thing and Sakura is all like, photo-bombing over Yukirin shoulder, looking to all the world like she was Yukirin kid being back-carried or something! It just places a huge smile on my face. What’s better is that Rena is still in all of this. And now that Yuihan is the new Souchan, things are going to be getting intenser over there too. I can’t wait for moments like this…

except it will be Yuihan and not Souchan that Yukirin looks at like that. Seriously though, again Yukirin?! What is this strange fascination with Souchan? I never see you look at someone else like that! Then again with the way Yukirin completely admires her Senpai, that feeling mixed in with some other feelings might be the giving this result.

Adding onto the YuiYuki talk, she, Yukirin and Kojiharu appeared on the latest SP episode of Shin Domoto kyodai and of course the subject of Takamina’s graduation was touched upon (Seriously, we are talking about this now? Is it going to be like this until the end of the year when she actually leaves?!!). Any way, they announce that Yuihan would be the next Souchan and of course Yukirin is the target of some fun. This happens when Yuihan is asked her opinion on the decision. They think that Yukirin is against the idea. That a 9th Gen leading girls 8 and 7 Generations ahead of her is a joke. That guys doesn’t know of YuiYuki apparently.

And I already told you to stop allowing Yukirin into pants guys!!!!! Why U No listen?!!

Another secret that I stumbled upon was the fact that Kojiharu had actually planned to announce her graduation during the Janken tourney had she won! She said that when she went up against Ikoma-kun, she had planned to lose initially just to give the fans some fan-service (Of Ikoma-kun fondling her boobs as a reward had she won) but fate pulled a funny one on her and let her win. After that win, then Kojiharu decided to go for the win in the end and then announce her graduation at the same time. But once again Fate dicked her around and she lost to Milky so now she is just waiting for the right moment.

Just so you all know, I am not one of those guys wanting Kojiharu to graduate. Actually, I don’t anyone to graduate but I know it is inevitable and that the time for my Kami is also near. I have this feeling that that will also be my time to graduate from AKB because I just can’t imagine an AKB without her and the first 4 gens. But, no use thinking of that right now.

Not forgetting about Nogizaka, Nogibingo’s last episode was a Christmas special of course and there, it wasn’t just the girls that got a present from Santa! I got one too and that present was IkuRina! Seriously, I was smacking myself wondering how I could have not seen the potential in these two!!! For crying out loud, they were almost always close together in the first few singles Ikoma-kun centred and yet for some reason, the idea of them two never even crossed my mind!

Like, what even…Just look at them there. How perfect they look together! And for some reason Ikoma-kun is more of a girl with Erika here making their ship the gayest gay couple in all the Ikoma ships! While with the other girls I ship her with (Miona, Minami, Nanase and Manatsu) she is in a boyish role more than a girl’s but here…

God, now I am thinking of all kinds of things, like how SHAKISM now is a whole new meaning to me with the three of them (Ikoma, Ikuta and Hoshino)! okay, better stop here before my mind just short-circuits!

I don’t know if I should have wrote ‘Poor Manatsu’ or ‘Poor girls’.

So, while we are on the subject of NGZ46, During Nogizakatte Doko ep166, the girls are reminiscing about the road so far seeing as they are releasing their 1st album. They were going through what happened during all the singles’ period and of the subjects got me really thinking.

So, we all remember, well, I do, that time during the Senbatsu announcement of the 4th (Seifuku no Mannequin) single when Manatsu first appeared. That was her first appearance and yet she was slotted right into Senbatsu. In fact she was one of the Deities (8 at the time). So you can imagine the volcano that must have been disturbed during that time.

And there was one because I remember this subject has already been brought to light before. That being the other member’s reaction to Manatsu getting a senbatsu spot just like that. This episode though, the girls came out and facts were laid out, things were said, truths bared. Those tears you see (Nanase’s and Hime-tan’s) are about this subject. I wanted to cry for poor Manatsu hearing the girls tell their stories but at the same time for the others too even if I should be but it was because of Manatsu-senpai herself that I didn’t hate on the other members (Not that I could hate on Nanase, like, are you even for real?!)

The thing is that hearing this you would think Manatsu would be in the worse ever state but she didn’t show this. She did not show the way that she was affected by the other members not accepting her and treating her so badly. I was just simply taken away by her inner strength. I mean imagine being her and going into Nogizaka and all the members giving you the cold shoulder!! I would so graduate that shit! But did Manatsu even show the slightest sign of depression? No! Not even during this episode! She was apologising like she was the one at fault here when the others were the ones at fault! She and Nanase apparently didn’t even talk during that year! Like, can you believe it?

So, I was thinking, all this friction just because Manatsu took a spot in senbatsu but it was No.8! She was the last one in the 8 Deities ranking. She wasn’t the Centre! She is a member of Nogizaka! And yet she got all this negativity! So here comes my quandary…

What do the AKB48 girls think of the AKB48 singles?

Seriously, just think of that! Think about it because I dared not think of it. If Nogizaka, a single unit, flipped out about their own member taking a spot just because she was new, what do the AKB48 members think of all those sister group members taking up their senbatsu! I mean if you add in the fact that those said members also have the singles of their respective groups too, and you can imagine what un-imaginable.

This is getting too scary so I am bailing…

Sashiko you lucky…

I can let Misaki’s kiss slide because it is the typical idol kiss (Just touching lips) but that kiss with Nako was a darn real kiss! And what was up with that eating Miku! I can’t believe though that they actually showed this on TV! Seriosuly, I want to read the Japanese Law book on broadcasting because I have so many questions regarding their decisions! The things that they say can’t be shown and the things that are shown are so worlds apart in making sense that I am sure it would make a great source of the next Bible!

Any way, that Aramaki sure is cute, huh? I for one dig her more than the NakoMiku duo. She is if course kind of like Ryouha in the beginning but that girl has come a long way. While I couldn’t stand her when I first got exposed to her, I now can’t have enough of Ryouha-tan. And so I am sure that just like her, Misaki here also has some deep secrets that will be revealed in time. I just hope it happens while I haven’t graduated yet…

And finally, My other Kami – Maachun – Ogasawara Mayu!

I always love it when I find out something new about my girls and this latest episode of Ariyoshi AKB, I was on cloud 9 when I found out another hidden talent of my already overly gifted Maachun. Actually, it wasn’t just one but two, even though both were related, kind of.

So, as to what these skills were? Well for one, she can tell precisely a girl’s cup size just by touching their boobs! As if that wasn’t jaw-dropping enough, since they were wearing bras which are obstacles, she only had one wrong guess but she got it right the second time! Like, how is that even possible!!?! Apparently Maachun is the impossible.

Another trick is that she can pin-point a girl’s nipples too (What, they could say this on TV with the young Team * members in the audience so why not?). She demonstrated this technique on Chyori and judging from that reaction, she was on-point (no pun intended). How could she even do it though? Could it be that there is a reason she is starting this Spidermaachun thingy?

Any way, the members under the make-up were also revealed 9to those who didn’t know). They are Team 8’s Satou Nanami (One of my EIGHT) and Shitao Miu. Nanami’s face though under the make-up was super different, wasn’t it? It looks way rounder than it actually is.

Any way, I hope Ariyoshi never changes. It is like the only show that I have never missed an episode on. I even watched those recap episodes for crying out loud!
