So, if you haven’t been watching Nemousu lately (And I don’t blame you!) these past few episodes have been about Team 8 and them working hard to be selected for the first 16 to appear at Tokyo Dome (that starts today BTW) and stand on the same stage as their Senpai. They would be performing Sakura no Hanabiratachi.

These episodes the girls have gone through intense training including vocals, dance and talk skills which they would be combining in their audition in front of the teachers who have been instructing them and the two AKB managers. Among the 47 members these were the ones picked…

As with the current trend (That’s really gotten old and I wish they would stop it) Team 8 get two Centres! Now they may have come off as cry babies but frankly I have no complaints. In fact though I detest the notion of two Centres I was kind of glad for it this time around because even before this, Ikumin and Yuriyan have been the top two of my 5 Team 8 favourites. I couldn’t decide who I like best yet. Before this I was slowly leaning towards Ikumin because I am a sucker for cry babies but when I saw Yuriyan bowl her eyes out there was this fire that flared within me that titled the scale back around. Oh, just in case someone is confused who is whom…

You know, I am not just saying this but when they said Shinobu was going to announce the Centre, I knew it was going to be one of these two because since the alternative Centres Naruchan and Yokochan weren’t in the selected Senbatsu then it had to be down to these two!

I just simply love her sharp features! I call her ‘My Loli’ so you all better watch out! This is one girl I ain’t sharing! And that sounded so creepy >.< I am a bit sad she didn’t cut it for this first Election but I have great hope in her!

 
Yokochan (Yokoyama Yui)

That’s right, her name is Yokoyama Yui, only written differently! I sense a dark power within her which is what attracts me to her and places her at No.4. Master Yoda would be proud of me! Kinda, okay very surprised she wasn’t picked! it might have just been me but I thought she was a Management favourite! Oh well she still kicks ass in theatres so…

 
SERIKA (Nagano Serika)

In fifth position we have this quarter-blood (We need one in every squad, am I right). She has this air-head thing going and I love those too. Not to mention she looks super……Um…I was going to say hot but…

Anyway, since Ikumin and Yuriyan take up the first spot together, I might just as well throw in the next in line. And that ia this delicious Meganekko…
