I ship it!!!!!!

I tried watching Ranma 1/2 years and years ago (2003) and for the life of me, despite having a great dose of hilarity, I just couldn’t into it! I freakin’ hated Ranma with a passion in the anime! Actually I am still wondering why I did because he is one of the few main males that are likeable. I tried once again to watch the anime but I just could not get passed the first few minutes still.

It’s yet another mystery because while I was searching for some new Gakki Dramas, and I came up with this LIVE of Ranma – that has been here for a while it seems, I somehow made it through the whole thing and I actually loved it!

Well, the Gakki formula sure is a big part of it and damn, does she look hot with that short-cut and Seifuku!!!

Ano ther reason that I loved it was Natsuna (who played female version of Ranma) because she was simply great! She really did pull off a boy in a girl’s body type of role quite well me thinks.

An even bigger reason for liking the drama was of course that Akane (Gakki) seemed to prefer female Ranma over the male version. I don’t really see the logic of letting female Ranma carry/touch her while she wouldn’t while in his male form but I am not complaining! This simply gives me great delusion powers!

They were so cute when Ranma was female these two!

Ranma tries to cheer up Akane after she’s forced to cut her long hair short and when Ranma is about to say that she likes Akane better with short hair, she starts stuttering and can’t finish the ‘like’ word when she gets to it so to escape the situation, she instead offers to carry Akane again.

This scene was quite cute! And funny seeing little Natsuna carry gakki who is marginally taller and bigger than her. Well, She is Ranma so….

I also liked the little touch they used at the end there where it was the female version that went to Akane’s rescue. Even though they had to destroy it in the end by bringing male Ranma back and trying to create some totally un-deserved kiss for male Ranma!

It was female Ranma that did all the rescuing FCOL!

Any way, i loved this, all of the parts without male Ranma anyway, which were quite a good number of.

After this drama with Gakki and Natsuna, I can now totally read all those Ranma 1/2 fan fics about Female Ranma and Akane now that I can visualise these two while I read them! And by God are there a lot of these fics! And so well written to. I don’t know if anyone remembers the angelfire days where people wrote the greatest anime fan fics…well, I saved the archives so it’s time to re-visit them (if they are still on the intranet any way!)

Lovely Drama special this was. I was kind of worried but they pulled it off pretty well actually. I would so watch the series if they made one!

Oh and Akane still prefers female Ranma!
